What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I bring the Corsa Alpine Axe when weight matters but I still need performance on firm snow and alpine ice. It feels almost weightless in hand but digs in like a full-weight axe thanks to the steel head and sharp pick. It’s a staple in my ski mountaineering kit." Whether we're crossing glaciers at sunrise or front-pointing up early season couloirs, the CAMP USA Corsa Alpine Axe is always in our hands—or lashed to our pack, barely noticeable until we need it. This featherweight axe merges an aluminum shaft with a full steel head and a sharply tapered 3mm pick, giving us reliable performance in steep, frozen terrain without weighing us down.
