The Buck Knives 104 Compadre Camp Knife is a practical fixed-blade tool designed for campsite work, bushcraft and general outdoor cutting tasks. Its 4.5-inch drop-point blade provides a useful combination of cutting edge, belly and controlled point placement for preparing tinder, trimming branches, cutting cordage and handling routine food preparation around camp. Buck constructs the blade from 5160 spring steel, a high-carbon alloy selected for toughness under demanding use. A Cobalt Cerakote finish covers the steel to provide an additional barrier against corrosion while giving the knife its dark, low-glare appearance.
