Biting, industrious, efficient - fire ants are known as hard workers, but especially for their painfully burning stings. From now on, everyday cutting tasks should also beware of them, as the Boker Plus Fire Ant seamlessly ties into the character-defining features of this ant genus. A drop point blade made of corrosion-resistant 4116 blade steel with a toxic stonewash finish serves as the mouthpiece. The Fire Ant only prepares for its powerful bite when the flipper is activated, while the double detent ball mechanism keeps the knife securely open. Two balls inside the liner are pressed against the opened blade, which can be easily closed again by overcoming the clamping resistance.
