From OMCgear
Until they are called into action ski piolets are passengers most of the time. As such ski mountaineering piolets must be bare-boned and slimmed down. They also need to be brutally tough and trustworthy. The new Hummingbird fits the bill. It is one of the lightest fastest toughest ski mountaineering piolets you may find. One of the most efficient too with a true anchoring titanium head. It won&&';;t let you down.
