BlacktipH Short Wire Live Bait Rig - Simple. Strong. Deadly effective. The BlacktipH Short Wire Live Bait Rig is built for compact live baits and tight trolling spreads when precision matters. It features a Mustad 39951 UltraPoint 8/0 hook with a Black Nickel finish for razor-sharp penetration and secure hooksets on bull mahi, kingfish, and other hard-charging predators. Constructed with #8 single-strand wire, the rig provides a stealthy, flexible, and bite-resistant connection that allows baits like threadfin, blue runners, and goggle-eyes to swim naturally. Finished with 80lb stainless steel swivels, it delivers smooth rotation and durability through violent strikes and high-speed runs.
