What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I put the Recon LT Pant through a full backcountry touring season, and it never once felt like a compromise between protection and mobility. The stretch fabric is genuinely impressive for a three-layer pant, and I wasn't cooking on the long climbs the way I usually do in a hardshell. The thigh vents saved me on warmer spring days when the sun came out mid-tour."The approach starts before first light, and the weather rarely cooperates, which is exactly why the Recon LT Pant from Black Diamond belongs on the skin track.
