What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The step from the 1. 0 to the 2. 0 is a meaningful one — 60gsm Primaloft Gold Eco versus 40gsm means noticeably more warmth at the core without a dramatic weight penalty. If you run cold or spend time in sustained cold conditions rather than just cold approaches, the 2. 0 is the right call. PFAS-free DWR on both shell and lining, stretch knit cuffs, cordlock hem, packs into the left hand pocket. The hood adds real value in blustery conditions where the 1. 0 leaves you reaching for a hat. Pair it with the Solution 2. 0 Vest on the coldest days for a complete core system."Some jackets are warm enough for a parking lot and not much else.
