What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This is my favorite pack for long alpine days and fast overnights. It carries like a running vest, so it stays close and stable, but the 22L capacity means I can bring a sleeping bag or extra layers without it feeling overloaded. The pole storage and pockets make it super easy to grab gear on the move."The Black Diamond Distance 22L Backpack is built for long days in the alpine and fast-and-light overnights where efficiency and comfort are critical. Taking cues from running vests, the harness system keeps the load stable and close to the body, minimizing bounce while maximizing mobility.
