From Sportsman's Guide
A nod to "old-school" casting reels with a modern twist, the Bates Fishing Co. OG 100 Casting Reel was built for anglers who appreciate the heritage and aesthetics of the past but seek a high-performance reel with cutting-edge technology. Featuring a fully machined frame reminiscent of the golden era, each reel houses a set of brass gears for durability and precision, perfect for a wide range of heavy-duty fishing applications. Don't be fooled by its retro exterior, as the OG packs a punch with its CNC-cut 6061-T6 bar stock aluminum construction, 10+2+1 bearings, and a powerful 14 lbs. of drag capable of stopping brutes in their tracks.
