From Backcountry
The Dozer 2H-S Shovel packs hoe mode and a stowed 9-inch saw into a single shaft, built for snowmobilers cutting through wood limbs and anyone running snow stability tests in the field. The shaft uses an oval profile with a concave radius on both sides, a shape meant to resist breakage under prying load without adding weight, and the same shape improves palm grip so the hand doesn't slip during hard digging. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I dropped a limb across a sled trail last winter and had it cleared with the stowed saw before I'd normally have finished digging out the tool. The shaft held its line through some aggressive prying afterward without any flex I could feel."
