What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Explore 40 is my choice for overnights or gear-heavy tours. The extra space is perfect for rope, crampons, and layers, but it still carries comfortably thanks to the ventilated back and wide hip belt. The ski-carry is slick and quick, and I love the base access compartment for skins and boots-out transitions."When the adventure calls for more gear, the Explore 40L Backpack answers. Built for hut-to-hut traverses, multi-day ski tours, and alpine objectives, this 40-liter pack delivers maximum capacity without weighing us down.
