The AREA 419 Remington 700 Short Action Improved Scope Rail is a one-piece optics base built for securely mounting Picatinny-compatible scope rings and mounts. This exact version combines a 20 MOA inclination with AREA 419's Full Slotted configuration, providing a continuous MIL-STD-1913 mounting interface that also works with mounts featuring a centrally positioned recoil lug. The rail is intended for Remington 700 short-action receivers and is machined from 7075 aluminum, balancing rigidity with a manageable installed weight. A Type III hardcoat black anodized finish protects the aluminum and gives the base a subdued appearance that coordinates with most rifle and optic finishes.
