From Trident Fly Fishing
Anglers Image Tippet Swivels are micro-sized barrel swivels engineered to eliminate line twist when casting aerodynamically resistant or heavily weighted setups. These tiny low-visibility connectors act as a seamless transition point between your leader and tippet spinning freely to absorb the rotational forces generated by casting large streamers or drifting tandem nymph rigs. Unlike conventional tackle swivels these are scaled down specifically for fly fishing minimizing weight and drag in the water column while maintaining exceptional break strength. These swivels excel in fast-water environments and deep pools where line twist can quickly ruin a drift or weaken a knot.
