What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I like these for wet, muddy hikes where traction and comfort matter just as much as staying dry. The midsole feels plush without being mushy, and the wide toe box really helps on long days when feet start to swell. They feel more agile than most waterproof mids."When trails turn slick, puddled, and unpredictable, we want a boot that keeps us moving forward without second-guessing every step. The Timp 6 Mid GTX Hiking Boots from Altra are built for day hikes in wet conditions, combining waterproof protection with a lightweight, trail-running-inspired feel.
