From Backcountry
The Altra Lone Peak 9+ Wide arrives with a reengineered no-sew overlay upper on 100% recycled ripstop mesh, a lighter revised EGO midsole foam for a more connected feel underfoot, and a new Vibram Megagrip outsole for sticky traction on wet rock and loose dirt. The wider forefoot last gives toes room to splay and push off naturally without altering the zero-drop geometry or outsole contact patch that Lone Peak runners rely on. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Vibram outsole is the upgrade I notice most on wet trail, it locks in where the old compound would give a little.
