From Backcountry
The Altra Lone Peak 9+ is the latest iteration of the Lone Peak line, carrying forward the zero-drop platform and Original FootShape last while updating the construction across the board. A revised EGO midsole foam runs lighter underfoot than the previous gen's. No-sew overlays over a 100% recycled ripstop mesh upper add durability without the bulk of traditional stitched construction. The Vibram Megagrip outsole holds purchase on wet rock and rooted singletrack where softer rubber lets go. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Vibram Megagrip outsole is the reason I reach for the 9+ over the base Lone Peak on anything wet or rooty.
