From Backcountry
The Lone Peak 9 carries nine generations of Altra's trail-running development into a lighter, grippier build. The midsole foam is revised for a more natural ground connection. No-sew overlay construction toughens the upper without adding weight, and the MaxTrac outsole brings stickier grip across dirt-and-rock transitions. The 100% RPET ripstop mesh keeps air moving when miles stack up and temperatures climb. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The zero-drop platform and wide FootShape toe box let my foot splay naturally on long descents, which is where most trail shoes start to punish feet after mile fifteen."
