What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I’ve installed this on several XT and SLX builds, and it’s one of those upgrades riders feel immediately. Traction improves on steep climbs, cadence feels smoother, and chain retention has been completely trouble-free."Technical climbs reward smooth power and steady traction, and that’s exactly where the OVAL Premium Chainring for Shimano XT M8000 / SLX M7000 stands apart. Designed by absoluteBLACK for modern Shimano mountain cranksets, this chainring brings a more fluid pedal stroke to riders tackling rocky ascents, loose switchbacks, and long days in the saddle.
