What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I spec the 26T and 28T versions for riders who live in steep terrain or want better control at low speeds. The oval shape really helps smooth power on technical climbs, and chain retention has been completely reliable."When climbs get steep and traction is at a premium, gearing and power delivery matter more than outright speed. The Oval 1X 64BCD Premium Chainring is built for riders who need maximum control on slow, technical terrain, whether that’s tight switchbacks, rocky punch-ups, or sustained climbing days. Designed by absoluteBLACK, the 26T and 28T sizes open up low-range gearing without sacrificing drivetrain stability.
