From Backcountry

Chain wear measurement just got more precise with theAbbey Chain Wear Tool. Unlike standard tools that miss critical details, this tool is engineered to account for the variance in roller diameter found in modern chains, including SRAM’s flat top chains. By using a V-shaped notch, we can locate the roller center with pinpoint accuracy, ensuring we get a true reading on linear wear. Even more impressive is the tool’s ability to measure lateral wear, a game changer for maintaining drivetrain performance.
