From Backcountry
The 686 Hurra Hinged Balaclava uses a hinged design to open up or seal off face coverage without pulling the whole thing off, so it adapts as temperature and wind change through the day. A polyester spandex jersey construction stretches to fit and wicks moisture during high-output riding, while UPF 50+ protection guards against sun and glare on bright bluebird days. At 118 grams, it packs light enough to live in a jacket pocket for whenever conditions shift. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I flip the hinge open on the chairlift so I'm not fogging up my goggles, then close it back up before dropping into wind.
