From Sightglass Coffee
Since 1941 the CHEMEXA(R) has remained a beloved brewing method for those who appreciate clarity in both flavor and design. Its thick proprietary filters help reduce bitterness and sediment resulting in a clean nuanced cup-every time. Made from durable non-porous borosilicate glass-the same material used in scientific labs-the CHEMEX won&';t impart unwanted flavors or aromas. Just coffee at its most expressive.
