AirFilters.com No matter what the source, odors linger in rooms that have poor ventilation of outdoor air. Odors are tiny gas particles that cannot be absorbed by most regular air filters. That's why you need an activated carbon pre-filter. Activated carbon contains charcoal treated with steam, a process that creates millions of extremely tiny pores for trapping tiny particles like odors. This particular product is a replacement pre-filter that fits HoneywellA(R) enviracaire models 85L, 110, 110LX, 10200, 10700, and 10715. It uses activated carbon and helps to reduce common household odors like pet odors, kitchen odors, bathroom odors, garbage odors, etc.
